A deep reddish amber lager with a thick lacing ligh moka head. Light caramel malt in aroma, very simple. The caramel comes out nicely in mouth, with light buttery notes, and an oily mouthfeel. A simple little Vienna, refreshing. On tap at BP on Dec. 23, 2006.

Pleasant but somewhat weak caramel aroma with fruitiness that seems to be from hops(?); hints of cherry and banana. Looks like a pale ale; clear, tawny bronze with a thin white cover and lace. Flavour: hops: noble yet fruity, followed by crystal malt and ending with some corn aspects. Refreshing tartness that’s ell-balanced with gentle bitterness. Just a little heavy on the corn flavour.

Cereal malts and light fruitiness in the fairly sweet aroma. Clear pale amber-blonde coloured body is topped by a shy white head that recedes to ring. Fruitiness is apparent also in the flavour along with some very light herbal, spicy, earthy hops and cereal malt sweetness. A touch of butter rounds the flavour out with lasting sweetness in the aftertaste. Light body with overly strong carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

(Rating #615)

Pours a clear light amber color with a thin white head. Decent aroma and flavor of toasted malt, caramel and nuts. The palate is medium and creamy and the carbonation is medium to lively. This is a well-made vienna lager, very classic for the style.
