Renamed Lux Blonde: Toasted malts are notable in the lightly sweet aroma with some grassy hops. Clear golden body is topped by a low but lasting white head that recedes slowly to a lasting cover with some lacing. Fruity esters are pleasant with the chewy, toasty malt flavour. Mild bitterness keep the malt sweetness from becoming cloying but hops flavours are subdued. Medium light body is set-off well by firm, crisp carbonation that is perhaps a touch short-lived. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

on tap at cactus, qc. clear pale yellow pour with a small but decent white head, little retention. hay, herbal, light floral notes. average carbonation, light body, light but still present herbal-citrusy hopping. average but not bland.

Une robe blonde et voilée. Une tête blanche, solide. Une dentelle. Un nez qui s’articule autour des grains. Des herbes mouillées. Des flaveurs dominées par les grains. Une petite touche houblonnée avec un côté amérisant. Une bouche plutôt moyenne avec un pétillement modéré et une texture mince. Une finale légèrement grimaçante.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty, phenolic and light grassy. Bitter, herbal, grassy and slight hayish. Bitter and dry finish.

Une pinte sur place. Bière dorée avec une mousse blanche. Le nez est agréable avec des arômes de grains et une touche de caramel. La bouche est surprenante avec de goût vieillots de caramel. Est-ce qu’elle est vielle ?

On tap at the Brew Pub. Poured a clear yellow color with a small sized head. Aromas and tastes of grains with lighter citrus and floral.

2011-07-30. Crisp yellow bodied, nice white head and lace. 3+ flavour is a bit sharp with a good amount of bitterness, grassy straw like hops. Strong hops in the aroma with dry grassy straw profile, just slightly oxidized perhaps as it goes on? Average to light bodied palate. Tap at the brewpub. Very pale straw coloured pour. The arom ais very light but quite zesty with a touch of lemon character. Lean and light with some nice hoppiness. Fresh and clean with German hops up front. Simple, well-balanced and tasty. Lovely and fresh.

on tap at the brewpub. Typical golden ale. Some light hops, solid grain build. not too bitter, refreshng, and satisfying.

On tap at the brewpub. Golden with a film of head. Some floral hops and grain in the aroma. Same goes for the taste, with the addition of some orchard fruit and a few toast crumbs. Nothing fancy, but a nice starter beer.

Dégustée en fût au brouepub. De couleur dorée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle aux faibles notes rôties ainsi que des notes de céréales et de caramel, moyennement fruité (agrumes) et léger de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées). Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort et une texture aux notes crémeuses. Goût légèrement fruité (agrumes) accompagné d’un goût de grains de malt pâle lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût de biscuits ainsi que des traces rôties et de caramel puis en finale l’on retrouve une moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées) avec quelques traces citriques. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyen-léger amer de houblon herbeux avec un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes). (automne 2006)
