[tap @ brewpub] Strong yeast/spice aroma, slight spices in the nose as well. Flavors are smooth, a solid brew. Some yeast and bready malts in the finish.

Very creamy palate with a long lasting dry bitterness to it. Added flavors of ginger, orange peelings and lightly peppered.

Verre de 12 oz, provenant d’un fût, dégusté à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur de malt et d’agrumes. Apparence: La couleur est blonde orangée voilée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes et de céréales avec une pointe d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence d’agrumes en arrière goût. (Rating #734)

Draught. Dark copper body with an eggshell coloured ring of head. The aroma has dark, toasty caramel malt and bread. Straightforward and relatively bland flavour that is plainly sweet and malty with some hints of dark fruit.

Golden amber color with a thin head. The aroma is of caramel and malt. The taste is of fruit and mostly banana. There is a bitter aftertaste that is very pleasant in the mounth.

Spicy malt forward aroma evokes gingerbread. Clear copper coloured body is topped by a low white head that recedes to partial cover with some lace. Toffee flavour is lightly spicy with moderate offsetting bitterness that lingers nicely. Medium light body is very dry with strong carbonation that is a touch too prickly. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Candied malt aroma, citrus also, copper, wearing a small off-white head. Flavour is candied malt, no citrus or yeast notes. Light bodied, enjoyable.

Tap. Pours amber like black tea, fine creamy head. Aroma was quiet faint, some malt and alcohol around. Not much here. Flat, shallow body with grainy maybe even earthy touch. Bland and forgettable. Late caramel with carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2007 The pour reveals a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of toasted malt, fruits, yeast, there is also a "burned" feeling in there. The flavor also has toasted malt with fruits and yeast. The body is light to medium with a dry mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.
