On tap at the brewpub. Appearance: deep dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma: very slight chocolate, a little malt, tiny amount of coffee, quite creamy. Flavour: toasty at first, quite a thin body with a lot of carbonation. There’s certainly a good amount of mocha in the flavour with a pleasant long dry finish. I like it.

Drank at the brewpub on tap (20 oz), March 20, 2010. Dark brown cola style, thin head. Nutty malt aroma, slightly sweet and very gentle. Taste of bitter coffee and hazelnut, a bit watery aftertaste. With a name like that, it lack of mocha!

A deep dark brown porter with a thick moka head. In aroma, good coffee, milk chocolate, herbaceous. In mouth, a nice little porter with nutty notes, acidic points, quite decent. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 22 2010.

on tap @ pub: Pours dark brown with a thin head. Thin roasty nose and malt. Taste was ok, not to my liking but for the style it was fine. Overall, it was ok, but left me wanting.

En fût. Verre de 12 oz dégusté directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Légère odeur de torréfaction avec une pointe de caramel. Apparence: La couleur est brune-noirâtre. Présence d’un mince col beige mousseux sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de chocolat et de torréfaction. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement onctueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de torréfaction en arrière goût. (Rating #2847_

On tap at the cafe. Dark brown with just a film of head. Light roast in the aroma, along with a little burnt caramel. Flavour is a little thin. There is some chocolate there, but I didn’t get much coffee, and it could use a little more roast. Not the best from these guys.
