On tap at the brewpub, a very good IPA. Goes down easy with hops dancing in your mouth, another good brew from Benelux.

Wow, this is a great beer! Pours a light cloudy straw with a pillowy head that lasts and tons of lacing. Nose is big pine and grapefruit. Aromas are grapefruit, pine and maybe some apricot in the back. Hint of floral hops as well. Taste is light sweet with a good bitter finish. More velvety in the mouth than I would expect, but it works! Really nice beer.

(8 janvier 2013)

From notes at Caskdays 2011. Pours a cloudy golden-orange with a small short lasting foamy white head. Aroma and flavours are citrus and resin, balanced malts. Very nice cask ale.

Cask at Vankleek Hill’s/Beau’s Oktoberfest. Hazy orange with short lasting white head. Smell is citrus. Taste is orange, citrus, cereals. Nicely hopped: Quite a lot of citrus, mostly grapefruit. Bitterness is very resilient, lingering for quite a while. Medium bodied. Good IPA!

Pleasantly strong citrus and floral hops in the nose. Hazy golden body is topped by a generous and long lasting, sticky, white head that coats the glass with lacing. Pleasant balance of sweet malts and strong bitterness. Lots of spicy and floral notes linger in the aftertaste. Wonderful smooth creamy textire with soft bubbled carbonation. Excellent! Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub in september 2012.

October 30, 2011 - Volo Cask Days 2011 - gravity cask. Murky and wan-looking cloudy orange-gold with a minimal white head (3-). Smells great - juicy malt, citrus and citrus zest bitterness, acidic - like sorachi or citra or maybe I was drunk - tropical tartness and I give it an 8+ ... taste follows, just a tad harsh - maybe the hops were a little green? - still good, just not well balanced, the fruity malt is shoved aside by the harsh bitterness. Light body, acidic, mildly carbonated, a fairly long pithy grapefruit finish.

On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma of pungent resinous hops, some tropical fruits and sufficient caramel malt backing. Flavour is quite wild and funky for an IPA, with horse blanket, herbally hops, some grapefruit peel, and enough mat simply to back. Very pleasant bitterness and funk that linger. An atypical wild and funky, but also unmistakeable, IPA. Excellent stuff.

Au Mondial de la bière de Montréal 2012. Wow, agrumes, pamplemousse, citron. En bouche, malt, herbes, douce. Excellente.
