Aroma: Smelling of spices, clove and yeast (brett).
Appearance: A foggy amber beer. An off-white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, spices, leather and hay.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a coarse texture. A small body with a good dry finish.
Overall: A nice moderated saison.
Note: On-tap at Benelux. Reviewed 2013-03-23.

Snifter at the brew pub. Cloudy copper with a tan rim. Fairly peppery and spicy, lighter esters, raw buckwheat grain notes, some caramel and toffee, fairly strong herbal notes, bitterness, a touch of berry and dark dried fruit; dry with moderate bitterness and a pleasant, complex malty, Belgian finish. Lovely.

On tap at Bénélux. The color is amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of hops and oranges. The taste also of hops plus yeast spicies and oranges a good mix from a pleasing saison.Another great beer from Bénélux.

On tap at Benelux. (Listed at 6.5%). Not their best beer. Amber with a thin, off-white head. Mild nose of tart fruit. Largely fruit in the taste, but it’s not dry enough. More hops than usual for the style. Lightly carbonated. A little disappointing.

On tap at the brewery. An odd beer, like a IPA meets a spicy Saison. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity nose, I thought this was a Belgian IPA, some sweet fruity malts. The flavor is much the same; pine and fruity hops, rich sweet malts, Belgian yeast. Nice. Spicy.

Draft. Pours a hazy amber body with a mostly white head and good head retention. Apricots, pear, and banana fruit toned esters. Spicy and floral with a yeast drying body. Dry with a banana sweetness. ok.

Slight cloudy amber-copper hue, with a creamy beige head, yeasty, fruity, raw grainy toasted malt nose with some ripe apple, lemon peel, faint dried sultana raisin esters, with a mild floral hop leafy, citrusy note in the aroma follows through on am edium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, peachy, apricot, earthy, grainy, malty character, with a flowery hop, spicy leafy, grassy, cirtusy reminiscent of a nice saison type of beer, leading towards a fruity, citrusy, lingering leafy, grassy, hop bitterness finish.

bright hoppy aroma, with some malty grains, and a touch of funk. Flavor was a touch metallic, with a citric hoppy finish, and a touch of funk. a nice saison.
