3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, - AUG 20, 2008
Objectively speaking:
Darker than their previous takes on the style, this is apparently brewed by the new assistant brewer.
I like:
Different flavours than their previous juicy saisons. Drier as well. Appealing toasty, almost earthy nuances complement the tropical, citrusy hoppiness. Fairly high bitterness.
I dislike:
Less estery and powerful in the aroma department than their other Saisons. The head does not last too long. Not very refreshing.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SlovakSniper (1349) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 26, 2012

On tap at Bénélux. The color is amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of hops and oranges. The taste also of hops plus yeast spicies and oranges a good mix from a pleasing saison.Another great beer from Bénélux.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TheJester (1262) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2011
On tap at Benelux. (Listed at 6.5%). Not their best beer. Amber with a thin, off-white head. Mild nose of tart fruit. Largely fruit in the taste, but it’s not dry enough. More hops than usual for the style. Lightly carbonated. A little disappointing.

On tap at the brewery. An odd beer, like a IPA meets a spicy Saison. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity nose, I thought this was a Belgian IPA, some sweet fruity malts. The flavor is much the same; pine and fruity hops, rich sweet malts, Belgian yeast. Nice. Spicy.
