Faint aroma of wheat, medicinal, hazy yellow, tiny white head. Taste is faintly wheat, some bandaid is noted. Light bodied, no spices at all. Sub standard.

Draught. Cloudy white-yellow body with a creamy white head. Typical Belgian Wit aroma - fruity with plenty of spice character (clove and pepper). Starts out a bit doughy, bready throughout, and finishing with some peppery spice.
Benelux, Montreal. 2007.09.14

probstblueribbon (1967) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2007
Sampled at brewpub. SE09/07.

App.: Cloudy straw, no head. Aroma: Nice yeast, a touch of banana ester, light lemon. Palate: Medium body, fairly soft carbonation, a touch astringent. Flav.: PLENTY of coriander, light yeast and dough, a touch of citrus; just slightly off-dry, mild bitterness.

Drinkable but way heavy on the coriander.

Light colour with a foamy head. Funky yeast aroma. Light mouthfeel. Taste of sourness and dust mites, and citrus. I would think infected batch? But I have said that about other wheaty beers as well.

(Rating #722)

[on tap at brewpub] Excellent orange-Belgian aroma with a hint of malt. Hazy orangish yellow with a lacy, white covering. Citrusy and corriandery and malty flavour, though a touch soda-watery. Some sour wheat character and a tingly sweet orange peach ending. Light body with high carbonation and a dry yet sweet finish. This is my favourite offering from Benelux so far.

tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 28, 2006
Strong, spicy coriander is apparent in the wheat-filled aroma along with some herbal hop character. Almost opaque white-yellow coloured body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a lasting cover with some sparse lace. Ginger and coriander spiciness is assertive with plenty of wheat also notable in the very dry flavour. Dry, well attenuated light body with crisp, strong, lively carbonation that opens the tastebuds and engages the tongue. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
