3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep gold with plenty of carbonation. The head is thin and white. Aroma is deep malt with some dirt and slight flowers. The taste is full with some flowers and sweet honey. Hints of bread. This is nice for the style. Best by March, 28 2005.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a nice golden with a soapy looking head. Nose is mostly toasty malt with a hint of butterscotch and caramel. Despite the nice nose this comes across rather thin and weak in the flavor department which is too bad really since the nose is actually quite nice. Just a hint of caramel sweetness with gentle but somewhat assertive carbonation. A kiss of hops in the finish rounds things out well. A little more of everything and this would be great. I think that this would qualify as a "lite" beer in the states and it’s one of the most flavorful examples of such that I’ve tasted.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light golden color with a diminishing cream colored head. Just a few specks of lace. Small hint of pale malt and the scent of sheets after they have been hung out in the sun. Light whiff of alcohol. Aroma seems to improve as this one warms and some light toasted grain and caramel come out. Moderate feel that seems to thin out with the flavor. Mild toasted pale malt start with a light floral bitterness. This one really come on as it reaches 50 F, Mild caramel and toast, a crisp herbal bitterness. The alcohol does seem to show up a touch in the flavor, that for the strength is a bit too strong. This is a brew for a cool summer night.
