0,5 l bottle. Poursd deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is weak roasted malts, light chocolate. Full bodied, very good for this low abv beer. Taste is full of light roasted malts, maybe a touch on the sweet side, but not too much. Here is caramel mixed with chocolate, even some noticeable liquorice, nice Czech dunkel.

Slightly roasted malty notes in taste with some additional notes of roasted coffee beans. Some light bitter hops are present as well. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant sweet malty and chocolate sweetness in finish, which makes this highly enjoyable. Roasted malty notes in aftertaste. Great dunkel.

From tap at Řlbaren. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a lacing off-white head. Light roasted malt and slight butterish. Goes into a sweet dark caramel malt note. Ends with a mild bitterness swept in light roasted malt flavours and maintains its sweetness. Nice.

Chestnut to copper color with a small layer of tiny tan bubbles. Great color just not much head out of this bottle. Mild sweetened nut and hint of roasted malt in the aroma. Light mocha flavors with a touch of hops late in the quaff. A very unassuming and drinkable dunkle. I certainly could sit and drink this all evening. Very smooth on the palate.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 8, 2009
Medium fine beige-brownish lasting head. Lovely reddish-brown body. Light fruity aroma; can’t really make anything much out. Dry (with sweetish notes) roasty dried fruit and raisins taste with caramelly notes. Excellent harmony and balance. Lovely vividness and distinctness of taste. Dry spicy roasty earthy licorice aftertaste lingers. Light acidity can be picked up. Really exceptionally good for the style. (0.3l draft, U Ferdinanda, Prague.)

Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour with mediumsized creamy off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, mild raisins and nuts along with some pine. Flavour is roasted malts along with mild licorice and chocolate and toffee. Leaves burnt and toffeeishness in the aftertaste.
