COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Special half-dark beer brewed of several types of malts and hops with an addition of herbs which will give this beer a characteristic fragrance and a pleasant dry bitterness. Its ruby-red colour contributes to the overall perception of this drink.

Draught at Ferdinand Monarchia in Budapest, Hungary.
Dark reddish brown colour with small white head. Yeasty, dry woody, nutty and malty aroma. Dry mild hoppy bitterness in flavour. Not my favourite but still quite drinkable. Soft carbonation.

Draught at Prague Beer Museum on June 5, 2011
Hazy copper color, fluffy off-white head. Spicy and acidic scent, a bit sour. Malty but sour rasre, I don’t think this is OK. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Won’t let this rating push down the previous, since this beer must have gone bad at this place, or else served out of an old keg or similar.

Draught @ Prague Beer Museum at Náměstí Míru, Prague. Pours dark amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, little spice, caramel, grass, light fruit. Flavor is malt, wood, little dark fruit, grass, little spice. Medium body, lively carbonation. 200414

Brilliant ruby-chestnut; slim white rim. Nose with bread, sweet like Marssala or other dark dessert wine, definitely vinous. Taste again bready and very faintly vinous. Finish is bitterish, rather metallic. Maybe rather Balsamico than wine. Medium body, bit watery at the end. Not bad. I wonder whence the name ("seven bullets", thanks motelpogo). It's certainly not seded with diacetyl, what I fear most from imported Czech stuff.

medium sized head, the beer is quite dark in colour. Malty aroma. Malty taste, the herbs are in the background, but traceable.

draft. clear striking rusty orange body with a fluffy and lasting white head. sweet approach turning somewhat thin and flabby with low acid, low bitterness, medium chewiness and noticeable yeast esters (berry, apple, orange). straightforward munich malt toffee and caramel, a bit too chewy and thin and out of balance, finishing with orange esters and caramel. nothing special.

Tap at U Kuntastatu. Glowing, cler a,ber. Medium, mfinehed. Fruity, caramel mose, dry and bredy. Sweet flavor, caramel malts, earthy hops. Grass, herbs. Not too sweet, but a bit of brown sugar. Decent.

Bottle. Off-white head. Clear dark red brown body. Fruity malt aroma. Dry hops flavor with herbs tickling your tongue. Nice surprise.

Amber colour, and a real fine big head. Not much aroma. Flavor is a bit funny, some czechish-notes, mixed with some acidity.
