UPDATED: AUG 2, 2009 Bottled. Clear yellow colour, meadiumsized head. Vegetably sweet malty nose along with some grains. Vegetably, sweet maltish flavour. Wellbalanced. Good one with Indian food, but otherwise pretty boring.

good light golden color, small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was light grain some fruit and a hint of hops. The flavor was nothing special again with some sweet mild fruit some graininess and a mild hop showing in the middle and end. It’s not great but worth a try.

An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw and caramel, while the flavor is sweet with an underlying acidity and with notes of straw and caramel. And the body is thin.

The bottle I have says Bengal Indian Lager. The owners of the recipe are Mysore Breweries Ltd, but it is brewed in Belgium. I am sure it’s the same sweet stuff as this Bengal Tiger. Quite refreshing and undemanding. Now that it’s snuggled up next to me I’m not going to shoo it away, but I wouldn’t call it over unless I had no choice.
