Sweet malty aroma and extremly sweet malty taste. golden in colour with big creamy head.

330 ml bottle Aroma: yeast and alcohol; Appearance: Pale gold with a less than sparkling transparency, Big, ice cream sundae head with thick lacing; Taste: slightly sweet, a hint of hoppy bitterness but not much more than a hint; Palate: lively carbonation, light to medium bodied, lightly sticky texture, longish, slightly astringent finish; Overall: Better than Tui but that ain’t much competition.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2009 Pours hazy golden with a small bubbly head which went away rather quickly. A little bit of zesty, floral hops in the aroma. Nice crisp taste, a little lemon and malt with a medium bitterness rounding it off nicely. The small flavour that is there is well balanced. Considering what you pay for it, not bad Maurice...

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden with a small, white head. Lightly sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a fairly sweet malt base, a little flowery hop accents and a short, dry finish. A straight, OK lager - perhaps a little on the sweet side. 010208

Moderate hop aroma with some faint citrus notes. Nice palate generally. Reasonably well crafted balance between malt & hop bitterness. Overall, better than any mainstream offering.
