COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a clean, crisp, delicately balanced beer with subdued sweetness and a pleasantly refreshing tang in the finish. Because of the low hop bitterness and dry, light body, this beer is easily mistaken for a lager or light beer. These qualities make it a great summertime beverage. This beer is brewed using our local pure water without any additives. This beer was our very first recipe. It was our introduction into craft beer. We brewed what we wanted to drink, and this quickly became a favorite among our friends and family who werenít ready for the more brutal styles on the Bent Brewstillery beer menu. We make this beer our own by using richer Munich malts to give it a more complex and deeper flavor. This beer is best when fresh.

Bottle. Gold pour with a small head. Syrupy density and corn. Not bad, but not good either. Meh.

Pint glass at Ward 6. Golden on the light end. Light head too. Definitely a run of the mill option. Some heavy handed hops present but mostly poor make and corn. Not a lot of balance. Almost a honey taste but not welcomed. Aftertaste is a let down too. Probably not worth ordering.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 Mildly hazy golden color with a thin filmy head, good lacing and mild carbonation. Aroma of pale malts, lemon zest, and floral hops. Floral hops, barley, munich malts and a light lemon zest make up the flavor with the munich malts lingering in the aftertaste. Light body with some moderate carbonation. Itís decent and drinkable!

Pours a light gold with decent head. Aroma is mild grain, sweet, grassy. Taste is light but is generally crisp and hopped above average for the style.

Bottle thanks to CLevar. Pours a fairly clear. Smell is harsh graininess. Slightly funky. Taste is slightly funky as well. No bueno. Obviously the two guys who rated this before me are dee runk.

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. pours a mild hazy golden to orange color with foamy white head. Sweet, light malt character, fruity - apricot aroma. Flavor is mildly sweet, semi astringent, fruit follows in the finish, more apricot type character.

While attending an event owner Bartley Blume mentioned this was the first beer he made home brewing. Thatís apparent. Retire it. Odd blonde/amber combo. It doesnít taste like a blonde, so why name it that? Itís not hoppy and lacks that nice sweetness blondes have. Watery, thin. This beer has an identity crisis. Pass.

Draft at Grumpyís in Roseville. Looks ok. Yucky. Odd finish. Some off flavor that I canít really put my finger on.

I had this after the Ghostface, and it was either because of that or because of the cold weather that I could barely taste anything. Pah. Thin drivel. Nothing going on. (on tap at Winter Beer Dabbler, January 2014).
