This is a clean, crisp, delicately balanced beer with subdued sweetness and a pleasantly refreshing tang in the finish. Because of the low hop bitterness and dry, light body, this beer is easily mistaken for a lager or light beer. These qualities make it a great summertime beverage. This beer is brewed using our local pure water without any additives. This beer was our very first recipe. It was our introduction into craft beer. We brewed what we wanted to drink, and this quickly became a favorite among our friends and family who werenít ready for the more brutal styles on the Bent Brewstillery beer menu. We make this beer our own by using richer Munich malts to give it a more complex and deeper flavor. This beer is best when fresh.

Bottle share thanks to Homer321. pours a mild hazy golden to orange color with foamy white head. Sweet, light malt character, fruity - apricot aroma. Flavor is mildly sweet, semi astringent, fruit follows in the finish, more apricot type character.

While attending an event owner Bartley Blume mentioned this was the first beer he made home brewing. Thatís apparent. Retire it. Odd blonde/amber combo. It doesnít taste like a blonde, so why name it that? Itís not hoppy and lacks that nice sweetness blondes have. Watery, thin. This beer has an identity crisis. Pass.

Draft at Grumpyís in Roseville. Looks ok. Yucky. Odd finish. Some off flavor that I canít really put my finger on.

I had this after the Ghostface, and it was either because of that or because of the cold weather that I could barely taste anything. Pah. Thin drivel. Nothing going on. (on tap at Winter Beer Dabbler, January 2014).

Pours a clear brownish-copper, with little to no head. Aroma marked by grainy sweetness and some grassiness. Flavor is grassy and lightly sweet. Pretty good beer all around.

This would be a good go-to session beer. Light but with a good crisp and hoppy flavour. More hops than a typical amber or blonde. Nice little beer.

A very nice blonde ale. Crisp with some nice malt sweetness and a great hoppy finish to keep it balanced. Nice.

Sampled on draught at ABR 2013 and via 22-oz bomber at Dennis Brothers tasting. Pours a clear, golden pale colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leaves behind a thin white ring and minimal lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light spicy and grassy hops, and a touch of caramel. Taste is light to medium bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of golden and caramel malt, a touch of white pepper and some grassy hops. Finish is semi-dry, a short-lived spicy hop aftertaste followed by some light caramel finish. A hybrid amber/golden blond ale best describes this new beer.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2014 Bottle pours a pale amber orange with no head after an aggressive pour. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, grain, and corn vomit. Wow there are different levels of awful bitterness fighting against each other in the taste, flat too. This pretty bad, not sure what they were trying to do here. Itís like they messed up an Amber and tried to add a cheap Lager to it. Ran into the sales rep at liquor barrel, he was talking about the different batches of the beer. I said the bottle I tried was flat and terrible. With a store employee we opened a bottle and all agreed it was bad. The rep. Assured me these bottles were not right. The employee offered me a bottle of dark fatha. Cheers to the rep and liquor barrel, will give this one another shot and re-rate.

This is a solid beer. I typically donít like blond beers, however this one is good and I would actually order it at the bar!!!!!!!!
