This is a clean, crisp, delicately balanced beer with subdued sweetness and a pleasantly refreshing tang in the finish. Because of the low hop bitterness and dry, light body, this beer is easily mistaken for a lager or light beer. These qualities make it a great summertime beverage. This beer is brewed using our local pure water without any additives. This beer was our very first recipe. It was our introduction into craft beer. We brewed what we wanted to drink, and this quickly became a favorite among our friends and family who werenít ready for the more brutal styles on the Bent Brewstillery beer menu. We make this beer our own by using richer Munich malts to give it a more complex and deeper flavor. This beer is best when fresh.

While attending an event owner Bartley Blume mentioned this was the first beer he made home brewing. Thatís apparent. Retire it. Odd blonde/amber combo. It doesnít taste like a blonde, so why name it that? Itís not hoppy and lacks that nice sweetness blondes have. Watery, thin. This beer has an identity crisis. Pass.

Can. Pours light amber with foamy white head. Nose is lightly floral with a touch of honey. Flavor is mildly sweet, backed again by mild floral hops and finishing with a nicely calculated balance of grainy honey sweetness and very lightly bitter notes of hop resin. A well executed blonde ale that should please just about any palate, enough of a hop bill to keep it from becoming bland.

Can. Pours a mostly clear gold body under a small fizzy white head. The nose is lightly sweet with a bit of citrusy hops and a slight huskiness. The flavor isnít the most exciting, but its clearly well made and a pretty strong effort for an Amber Ale. It has a fairly sturdy body for the style with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty good stuff.

Pint glass at ward 6 with rosskyle. Dark gold and clear with small head. Sweet and spicy for the style. Heavy honey. Not as bad as expected.

4 oz. pour, on tap at the breweryís taproom in Roseville, Minnesota. Consumed on 5-14-15. Pours a dark gold with nearly white head. Nice, fruity, floral aroma. Nice, fruity taste. Better than I expected. Cracker dry. Not bad. Soft in the palate. Light body. Palate effects work for this beer. In fact, overall, it works for what it is.

Ligh copper color with a small head. Light aroma of hay, grass, and caramel. Grainy, slightly buttery flavor. Moderately high bitterness.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty grains and bread notes with a touch of straw underlying. Flavor is full of straw with bread and grains notes.

Bottle. Gold pour with a small head. Syrupy density and corn. Not bad, but not good either. Meh.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2014 Pint glass at Ward 6. Golden on the light end. Light head too. Definitely a run of the mill option. Some heavy handed hops present but appears to be out of balance. Almost a slight honey taste midway through the experience. Aftertaste lingers a little too long without emphasizing the better aspects (albeit hard to find) of this beer. Probably not worth ordering.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 Mildly hazy golden color with a thin filmy head, good lacing and mild carbonation. Aroma of pale malts, lemon zest, and floral hops. Floral hops, barley, munich malts and a light lemon zest make up the flavor with the munich malts lingering in the aftertaste. Light body with some moderate carbonation. Itís decent and drinkable!
