1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
While attending an event owner Bartley Blume mentioned this was the first beer he made home brewing. That’s apparent. Retire it. Odd blonde/amber combo. It doesn’t taste like a blonde, so why name it that? It’s not hoppy and lacks that nice sweetness blondes have. Watery, thin. This beer has an identity crisis. Pass.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap - average size foamy head, light copper color, sweet bready malt aroma and flavor, fairly well balanced with some dry earthy/nutty flavors too, crisp finish, not bad overall

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours light amber with foamy white head. Nose is lightly floral with a touch of honey. Flavor is mildly sweet, backed again by mild floral hops and finishing with a nicely calculated balance of grainy honey sweetness and very lightly bitter notes of hop resin. A well executed blonde ale that should please just about any palate, enough of a hop bill to keep it from becoming bland.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Pours a mostly clear gold body under a small fizzy white head. The nose is lightly sweet with a bit of citrusy hops and a slight huskiness. The flavor isn’t the most exciting, but its clearly well made and a pretty strong effort for an Amber Ale. It has a fairly sturdy body for the style with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty good stuff.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint glass at ward 6 with rosskyle. Dark gold and clear with small head. Sweet and spicy for the style. Heavy honey. Not as bad as expected.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Roseville, Minnesota. Consumed on 5-14-15. Pours a dark gold with nearly white head. Nice, fruity, floral aroma. Nice, fruity taste. Better than I expected. Cracker dry. Not bad. Soft in the palate. Light body. Palate effects work for this beer. In fact, overall, it works for what it is.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty grains and bread notes with a touch of straw underlying. Flavor is full of straw with bread and grains notes.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Eh, not a huge fan. Corn aroma, light taste, and pretty clear. I’m not a huge blonde fan though

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2014 Pint glass at Ward 6. Golden on the light end. Light head too. Definitely a run of the mill option. Some heavy handed hops present but appears to be out of balance. Almost a slight honey taste midway through the experience. Aftertaste lingers a little too long without emphasizing the better aspects (albeit hard to find) of this beer. Probably not worth ordering.
