COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An unexpected visual bend to an American IPA. This style is one that stands out in a crowd, or if you’re more like us - enjoyed at a campsite, with no crowd.

On tap at Republic 7C. Pours a clear gold with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma combines earthy bread and grassy hops with a bit of earthy pine underlying. Flavor has more of a citrus and pine hop combination backed by bread and grains.

Een blikje van mijn neef gekregen en samen geproefd. Licht oranje, witachtig schuim. Geur is licht hoppig, enigszins fruitig. Smaak is hoppig / bitter. Redelijk van smaak.

Tap. Very good IPA that isn’t too hoppy that burns the palate. Well balanced and very drinkable.

Super cloudy orange pour, from 12oz can from chad (thx!). White head. The aroma is fantastic - ripe fruit, plum and grapefruit. Taste is a full flavored hoppy citrus well mixed brew. Good beer for sure

Pours deep yellow. Monster hops and thoroughly bitter throughout, with some sweetness for balance. Citrus aroma. Too hoppy and bitter to have much of it, a sipping beer for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour on tap at Beer Dabbler, slightly hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought pine, grasss, nice citrus with orange, some floral notes come through as well, pretty decent. Taste was a mix of grass, biscuit, bread, some orange, pine, touch of floral notes, finishing bitter, dry. Pretty decent.

Can @home shared by benzai. Clear golden amber colour with a medium sized white head. Smells marihuana, hops, fresh, grassy, nice. Tastes grassy, hops, fresh, sweetish, slightly fruity. Medium body, nice carbo.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2014 12 oz can @ home thanks to mista. Clear orange golden color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, lots of hops, some pine and resin. Taste malts, lots of hops, lightly resin and pine, moderate to heavy bitter but very well blended together with the fruit hops. Medium body, smooth but very suitable carbonation. Delicious!

Tap at Republic in Uptown. Light orange. Slight head with nominal lacing. Citrus on the nose...especially grapefruit. This is pretty standard IPA fare. Plenty of hop resin and citrus present. Finishes with a healthy dose of hops but not overly bitter. A solid rendition of the style that is probably just shy of a Surly Furious or a Fulton Sweet Child of Vine or a Steel Toe Size 7.

Can from Strykezone in the latest locals trade, consumed in the aftermath of the iPhone 6 launch. Thanks Dave! Pours copper orange with a big clingy light beige head. Aroma is grain boil, pine, grapefruit, lemon, floral. Taste has a caramel backbone that is overshadowed by deep pine and lemon hop bitterness. Definitely smells better than it tastes.
