Draft at a tasting event. From notes. Loads of grassy and pine hops. Good, but not truly great.

Newly released bottle to our area.Pour is a dark copper or burnt orange. Aroma issome blegian-caramel malt sweetness with a mild underlying mild hop aroma. Some bready/yeastiness. Taste fairly malty with toastiness caramel sweetness, pretty hoppy flavor, bitter was citrus rind, with maybe spiceyness.Has some roastiness also. A little harsh grassy bitter finish-seems higher than 27 ibu’s.This has more carmel/hoppy flavor than the one I had on tap also ,thatone was pretty mild/bland/cleaner,lighter maybe and in color and more lager like.

One of my local favorites again. Just the right blend of hops and smooth enough to drink all day.

Citrus, earthy, orange, clear, frothy, lightly bitter, medium body, lively. An accessible, palatable, American Post-Prohibition style pale ale. Pairs nicely with spicy bbq but can stand alone as well.

Growler, filled 11/30, courtesy of pepsican. Thanks! Pours a clear copper color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of big citrus hops with herbal and earthy notes. The taste is citrus and herbal hops, sweet pale malts. Medium bodied. Decent APA.

4oz sampler at the Bent River brewpub. This one was pretty much a standard copper color with a white head. Aroma was malts with a light aroma of hops. Flavor and mouthfeel were creamy notes of malts with some malt finish. Middle of the road.

A very nice pale ale. Pours amber with a small head. The aroma is fresh and clean, some grass, bread and a bit of hops. The flavor is malty sweet up front with a nice amount of hops to balance.

Tap at Bent River on Nov. 26, 2011. Orange pour with a smaller white head. Aroma and taste of earthy and pine hops. Decent.
