2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cbfobes (1045) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 19, 2010
On tap at brewpub, pours a dark golden color with some lacing in the glass, overall aroma is sweet and grainy, go figure, the flavor is boring and and sweet, much better at Bent River.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 willblake (2601) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 12, 2010
20100608 Tap at brewpub. I mean, it’s an American Wheat, so I didn’t expect much. Kind of grainy. Flavorful, like breakfast cereal, and not that I wanted to have a flavor glass of cereal, but at least it’s not totally bland. Really, Bent River, throwing a hop pellet or two in here wouldn’t kill you. Unremarkable.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cavie (3249) - Fort Worth, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2010
clear copper color. Very light aroma. Some wheaty notes. Taste is metallic grain. Wheat finish with soil and some small bits of citrus. Fairly standard.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MrNemo (11) - Virginia Beach, USA - APR 26, 2010
This is a pretty standard APA but with the BR endge that I love so much. Pours a lovely, golden haze. I love how the BR beers look. Not much going on in the aroma department, but that is pretty standard for APAs in my experience. I only drink this beer in the summer. Boy does it go down smooth in the summer. This is more of a beer for more average bar goer. Very well balanced, beautiful, above average wheat beer. Good summer brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark very dark gold with a medium white head. Thin in body and mild but it still has a significant wheat flavor. Clean and crisp. The beer has a long finish of lemons. Well done.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 drowland (3881) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 21, 2009
Have had this on tap at Bent River many times. Pretty much your straightforward wheat ale on the light side for the common drinkers around. Not bad, though.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 KAF (447) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - AUG 13, 2009
On tap at brew pub. Slightly hazy gold color. Nose is like that of a weak fart. Flavor is slightly grassy but faint.
