Late December, 2012. On nitro at the new Rock Island location. Deep black pour with a nice fluffy khaki head. Nice chocolate, coffee and cream in the aroma. Nice flavor as well, again with chocolate, coffee, and cream, and just a touch of acidity. The alcohol is hidden very well. Smooth.

Nitro pour at the Rock Island location, pours pitch black with a thick creamy light brown head, the aroma has a slight amount of chocolate and roasted malt, the flavor has a nice chocolate front with a sweet finish, mouthfeel was creamy but that’s expected with the nitro pour, the 10% is pretty much not there, not bad.
