On tap at brewery, pours a hazy yellow with a decent white head and lacing, aroma has nice touches of both clove and banana, the flavor is much of the same with the banana coming through the most, other spices come through, pretty enjoyable.

It’s hard to get me to really enjoy a Hefeweizen, but once it all went down, I was pleasantly content.

Hazed dark straw color with a full head of somewhat bubbly white bubbles. Grain and banana aromas. Hints of sourdough. Sweet wheat flavors taken back by a mild dry yeast flavor and touch of acidity.

Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, golden color with bubbly white head that didn’t leave any lace. Standard hefe aroma of bananas, clove, and subdued bread dough. Yeasty flavor, again accented by banana and clove. Good beer, true to style.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden in color. Where’s the yeast? Excellent lacing. Aroma of fresh bananas. I just want to smell this one for hours. This tastes like you are pouring beer into your bowl of bananas and cornflakes. I’ve never encountered such a strong ester flavor or aroma from a hefe before this.
