Light Bodied and Spicy! A Perfect Compliment of Sweet Fruit and Bold Peppers

On tap, poured into a small sampler glass. The aromas is fried jalapeno poppers. A straw pale color is topped by a light, kinda foamy, kinda thin bubbled head. It has an alright retention with with a very light lace. The taste is a spicy combination of medium sweet and light bitter. It’s a thin texture, light bodied beer with a fuzzy carbonation. It finishes with a nice, spicy sweet jalapeno mouth coating. It lights the palate on fire for a brief spell, but fades. The jalapeno note hangs around in the aftertaste for a bit, but cleans up nicely.

Drank this draw at El Bait Shop. Thank goodness my friend had a vodka red Bull that I could grab or I would have thrown up all over the floor. Never ever again.

On draftvat the brewery it is a golden clear no head the aroma citrus the taste is hot and peppery as advertised

On draft at the brewery in Rock Island IL. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma of chili pepper. Flavor dominated by the jalapeno. Light bodied but carrying a pretty ferocious kick from the jalapanos.

bottle from pepsican 4 xmas krampus. pours hazy amber, no head, looks well carbonated. nose of jalapeño, not much else. taste begins with peppers, followed by some moderate heat. peppers linger a bit. one dimentional, but pretty much wut I expected.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2013 Aroma is jalapenos and hints of wheat and milder peppers. The flavor is jalapenos, green peppers and lingering heat into the finish. Out of my least favorite style, this wasn’t bad, decent.

Nearly clear copper pour with a 3 finger, chunky beige head that has great retention and leaves pretty nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with earthy dried jalapenos (earthy enough I would think there could be some anchos in here), toast, chalky mineral notes and old grain. Flavor is very earthy up front with a light, old barn wood/cardboard sort of woodiness/oxidization, dried jalapenos, biscuit, some spicy and citrus hops and toasty malt. Light to medium body with a very active carbonation slightly goopy feel and pleasant capsaicin heat. Pretty good overall,.

Copper colour with a tiny white head. Peppers, some spiciness and malt in the aroma. The flavour is spicy jalapeños, dry hops and malt... the hot peppers kick in pretty soon. Warms... maybe burns a bit. Well... this is supposed to be Jalapeño Pepper Ale... and that’s what it is.
