sethdude (687) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Pours golden blond with a small head. Aroma is light grain and a bit of back pepper. Flavor is crisp, mellows sweet cereal malts and a very floral, bright and low-key hop bitterness, with a bit of peppery sinus action. A largely underrated and drinkable version of the style. Reading the other ratings, I either got lucky and got a fresh, uninfected bottle, or quality has improved. A very nice light session beer.

12 fl oz bottle. From Iowa. Thanks to John M.
Clear pale golden colour with a small white head. Floral hops, mild bitterness and some malt in the aroma. The flavour is mild floral hops and some maltiness. Very English style. Soft carbonation. Drinkable.

On tap at moline brewpub. Bland watery clear and boring. A little creamy and malty but little to keep one interested.

12oz bottle. Always nice when they don’t call it a Kolsch. Hazy tan-orange body. Thin, patchy white head. A pretty enjoyable beer, straightforward, but with some pleasant malt tones. Really clean, some mild cluster faint lemony hops to give it a balance. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malts, medium sweetness, some light flowery hints, and a grainy finish. Not bad.
