SPDickerman (1038) - Texas, USA - DEC 5, 2013
Pours hazy orange with a large yellowish white head. Smells mildly hoppy with a mild malt backbone. Taste has some bitterness and a touch of malt sweetness. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, Bent River Paddle Wheel Pale Ale finishes with a quick bitterness.

Beer of month club. Pours a hazy orange with a minimal head. Aroma is mostly malt with some funk and a hint of lemon. Taste is somewhat metallic with some lemon and bitterness. Drinkable but not memorable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - via Ale in the Mail. Dark amber color - cloudy. Mostly clean, slightly hoppy aroma. Good. Combination of malt, roastiness and hops. Roastiness in beginning and hops at the finish.

crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - NOV 20, 2013
A clear caramel color body with a white head that had good retention and nice lace. Initial aroma was sweet mostly from caramel malts, but there was a generic sweetness to it. Hops were slightly bitter. Seemed to have good aspects but lacked an individual character. Flavor was similar to the aroma. However there was more bitterness. Finish was slightly dry and smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Murky orange pour with a small head. Mild caramel nose that is just a touch stale smelling, but not bad. Lighter palate, somewhat crisp, and a bit sweet. Decent but not great.

12 fl oz bottle. From Iowa. Thanks to John M.
Clear amber colour with a small white head. Darkish hops, mild bitterness, some sweetness and malt in the aroma. The flavour is bitter hops and sweet malt. Not much more to say...

Bottle, LOL. Super tinny, metallic and harsh. Stale hops mixed with tin foil. Really not digging the metalness of this one.

Aroma is fruit, dryish malts and an undercurrent of toffee, similar to an EPA. The flavor is citrus, hop resin notes, malts, mild heat and a bitter finish. A mix of being mildly messy and rough around the edges, it wasn’t bad just could have been better.
