Cask at the Wellington; clear golden amber pour with a bubbly off white head, hint of Xmas spice and malt on the aroma, taste has some floral action along with ginger, dark fruit, toffee, ok.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Cask conditioned gravity dispense Olde England Northampton 21/12/12. An amber coloured beer with a white head. Spicy. Ginger aplenty and hints of clove. A decent sweet base beer. Spices are a little intrusive but at least it’s reminiscent of the season. Score 3.4

Cask@Lychegatetavern, Wolverhampton. Dark gold colour small head with good lacing. Taste is of christmas spices including cloves and cinnamon with bittering hops. A little too thin in the body. A very christmas like beer. Enjoyable.
