And another gem from my brother in beer in Wirral England, wyzzywyz22. With more like these, I might be heading over the Atlantic. Nice looking cloudy amber with a big white head. Earthy, fruity, citrus aroma. Flavor is quite sweet to begin with followed by some pine, citrus. Very well balanced. Finishes very bitter. Delightful aftertaste that stays with you.

Hmmm... good with pizza. Actually, I made pizza for the first time tonight. The base was a bit stodgy, but it was tasty nonetheless. It’ll be better next time.

Bottle. Cloudy orange appearance with a fruity, hoppy flavour. Plenty of body and a wonderful hoppy flavour. Excellent.

(bottled) yo dogg ok , a pretty UK’ish IPA ...Not meant in a derogatory way though ....something from the old school and i cant pin point but its not exactly bragging about its hops like our American equivalents .... caramel malty sweetness, mild earthy citrus hops. spicy hops . some orange zest and lychee . A subdued but pleasant IPA , old fashioned .

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2011. Old gold clear with lasting white head. Really good condition. Lovely English IPA. I like the hop. Hides its strength. Stunning condition. Rather a good English IPA. Decent beer

BCA from the Dodgi Deli aka Classic Deli, Cowley Rd, Oxford, 05-05-10 Well fucksocks this is good and what a find, the range of bottles at the Classic Deli isn’t as good as it has been despite their best efforts but if it can still be relied upon to unearth treasures like this then I am a happy man. This isn’t the best looker, pouring as it does a hazy orange amber but it has a nice billowing white head. The nose is marmaladey, some malts but it is the soft sweetened citrus fruits you mostly notice. The taste is citrus, honey marmalade again showing, its soft in the mouth with a wonderful bitterness. There is a nice warmth from the alcohol, in fact there is very little wrong with this beer, very impressed to see a lesser light like Beowulf doing something as good as this, this is territory normally reserved for Thornbridge, Brewdog, Oakham etc, but well done to Beowulf this is a great beer! Btw it even shone with Loz who said "can we go and get some more". A8 A3 F9 P4 Ov17 4.1

Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass, orange, UK hops, hop dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100119]

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin lazing off-whíte head. The aroma has notes of fruit and a bit of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruits - peaches, metal, and a bit of straw.
