Launched at Gladmat 2012.

50 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Poursclear dark orange with a medium dark off white head that leaves an ok lacing. Aroma of fruits and flowers. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness, light sourness. A bit on the dry side this IPA. A good one too.

33 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours hazy copper with almost no head. Maybe too cold... Typiical hoppy citrus flavored ipa. Not too bitter. Good but no cigar.

Red brown and clear with appalingly low foam levels. Strong hoppy aroma which unfortunately is very simple. Tastes mildly of vegetables, like a carbonated mixture of brussel sprouts, peas and broccoli. A quite anonymous IPA.

Old rating rerated 06.08.2014, 0,33l bottle @ FjordLine M/V Bergensfjord:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, caramel malts, dried fruits, leafs, pine needles, sap, hops, grass. Taste is dry grassy, hops, leafs, pine needles, lawn, caramel malts, sap, bark, hints of dried fruits. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.

My Bottom Line:
Peach juice floats on top of wet caramelized cereals, as big bubbles succeed into promoting bitter resins and oranges in the finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty amber.
-This may be forgettable, but it’s still drinkable and nicely bitter.
-The caramel malts in this IPA point towards the 80s.
-This seems to have suffered from time or travel. But it’s well within it’s best by date...

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

DWG; Pours clear, dark golden with a fading off-white head. Nose is malt, tropic fruit, floral and light pepper. Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter and somewhat lasting. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to avarage.

Bottle from Sola Vinmonopolet last year, pours dark amber with a clinging off-white head, plus marmalade and touches of honeydew melon and peach on the nose. Palate is initially rich, with caramel and fruity sweetness countered by very dry bitterness, but it doesn’t last, subsiding fairly rapidly to an acrid bitterness in the finish. Interesting, but not worth the money.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på Bergstua 28 Mar 13. Gyldenbrun. Pent kremaktig skum med litt lacing. God krydder- og fruktaroma. Mandariner. Smaken i samme retning. Litt mandler. Blir fort tørr & bitter med mange smaksnyanser. Tørket frukt & krydder.
