0.5l can. This is a crystal clear light golden one with a medium sized just off-white lager top. It has some light fruity sweetness on the nose, lots of grains, thin pale malts, some faint metallic undertones and hints of vegetables and corn . Well, not all that to be honest. It has a thin almost watery mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Not to impressive in the taste either, and most definitely not something I want to be drinking after the hunt (not that I’m out hunting to often) Sweet corn and grains, pale malts and traces of boiled vegetables in the finish. Not directly sickening, but not very appealing either. 28.04.2013

15.03.2013, sample @ the brewery: Lett sødmerik lukt med preg av lys malt, humle, korn, karamell, gras, litt røsta korn. Lett sødmerik og tørr smak med preg av lys malt, humle, karamell, røsta korn, høy, gras. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Grei.

500 ml can. Clear pale golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Not much aroma at all, grain with a faint hint of caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet grain, hay and hint of grassy hops, not much bitterness really. Medium to thin body and short in aftertaste with something sweet back there somewhere. Drinkable, but there are thousands of similar beer out there.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2013 Can from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nose is pale malts, red berries, maize, hints of grass and faint cooked vegetables. Taste is pale malts with traces of nuts. Some faint grassy tones in the back. Thin to medium body, moderate carbonation. Not among the worst of Norway’s countless pale lagers, but not exactly exciting, per se.

On tap @ Berentsens Brygghus. Pours dark golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is quite sweet with caramel malts and bread. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts, bread, toffee and caramel. Standard Norwegian lager.

0,5 can at a tasting at the brewery. Pours a light copper colour with a 1 inch white head that stays quite a long time. Aroma of hay, malts and some caramel in the end. Taste is fresh and balanced between the hay, grass and some herbs in the finish. A bit bigger body than the avarage pilsener. Maybe a bit boring, but this is actually a good, fresh and clean pilsener-

0,5 l can at the brewery. Clear deep golden body with a fingerthick fluffy white head. Wooden malty nose. Sweet, light bitter nose. Light to medium nose. Soft mouthfeel.

Can. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, grass, pine. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, grass, pine. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

0,5l boks: flott kobberfarge, mørkere enn standard pils, og det høye, tette skummet legger seg raskt som en film. Lite aroma og munnfølelsen blir fort flat. Lite smak å ta tak i, og ettersmaken er heller ingenting å rapportere om. Ingenting for svette mannfolk, nei. Nok et uinteressant produkt fea okka by. De kan så mye bedre, så hvorfor dette? Stilig etikett.

Can, many thanks to Cunningham. Dark golden color with medium persistent off-white head. Lively carbonation. Malt, caramel, grassy hops in aroma. Fruity taste with caramel, bee wax, with light hoppy bitterness in finish. What to say, simple, easy drinkable beer.
