Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours a dark brown colour with a nice head that dissipates quickly. Medium aroma of malts and yeast. Mouthfeel is ok. Taste is sweet, with hints of caramel, bread and some dark fruits. Mild on the aftertaste. Pretty good, but expected more from this one.

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Clear, dark reddish brown colour. Inch-thick beige head, quite sticky with a good deal of lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, vegetables, licorice, alcohol. Taste is semi-sweet, malty and fruity with a fairly dry, spicy finish dominated by licorice. Good balance. Medium/light body (a tad watery), average/soft carbonation.
