Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of honey and light notes of heather. The flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops and honey as well as light notes of heather. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 larsga (4650) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2009
Thin white head. Hazy deep yellow body. Deep buttery floral aroma with honey notes. Dry honey and flowers taste with herbal notes. Vaguely astringent mouthfeel. Mid-to-thin body. Dry vaguely plastic and honey aftertaste. Really nice. Lovely. (0.5l bottle from tarjei.)
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Gr0ve (1875) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 21, 2009
500 ml bottle. Deep golden and clear. Small off-white head. Intense floral heather honey aroma. Delicate malt flavour. Smooth and soft carbonation. Slightly dry and grainy. Fruity honey flavours. Nicely balanced, but with an interesting honey flavour. Overall a surprisingly drinkable honey ale. Not particularly complex though.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 RuneStumo (1464) - FØRRESFJORDEN, NORWAY - JAN 9, 2009
09.01.2008, 0,5l Bottle nr. 4110. The colour is golden. The beer is a little clody with some fizzeling carbonation but no head. Aroma and smell is honey. There is a lot of honey actualy. Body is rather thin and I think this kind of spised aroma need more malt and alcoholstrength. Honey aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is honey, heather, malt. Flavour is sweet, honey, heather, malt, floral. I´m influenced by the fact that i don´t like honey and this beer had too much for me.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 yngwie (9176) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2008
Bottle. It pours a clear golden body under a small white head. Heavy on heather honey in the aroma, with some malt and a floral touch. I’m quite fond of heather honey, but I find the level in the aroma of this beer to be too high, it’s more or less hiding it’s beery qualities. The same problem is present in the flavor, but not to the same level. There’s some more malt detected, and it has a decent bitterness. Else it’s honey and a little floral touch, as well as sweetness. Medium body. Sweet, honeyish finish. I’m not very impressed with this one, but at least it’s drinkable, and it’s a bold move from the brewery. (080814)
