Pale golden, white head. Smells of malts, grain and dust. Taste has malts, tons of sweetness for the style, still quite dry on the palate. Nice bitter finish. My complaint is the sweetness, it’s all to much here

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 tfredvik (369) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 14, 2011
Pale golden body with a small, white head that reduces to a non-diminishing layer. Aroma is pilsner malts and light hops. Not very exciting, but at least there are no bad elements. The taste has a medium malty sweetness that I think goes very well with the light hoppy bitterness. Clean, simple and typical pilsener flavours. This must be the best Norwegian pilsener I’ve ever had!

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 2, 2011
0.33l bottle @ Cafe Special, Bergen. Pours a clear pale golden body with some tiny white floaters and a one-fingersize white lager head. Aroma is lager-grainy with good notes of hops and a thin citrus hint in the end. Light bodied, watery texture and carbonation is medium+. No flavor bomb, not that it’s supposed to be that, but still quite low on flavor (not bad in any way). It could be psychological but I get that typical ecologic flavor I often seem to get from ecological beers. It tastes just a bit different and perhaps a bit less than it’s equal non ecological brothers and sisters. Anyhow, this is really easy to drink and a helluva thirskiller. Light grainy, light hopy and has a mild and kind grassy-dry bitter finish. I liked it, and this is undoubtedly the best Norwegian lager I’ve tasted this year.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 StoreMy (19) - Nesttun, NORWAY - JAN 18, 2011

A clear golden brown with a low foam.
Good fruityness with malt. Getting a hint of cardboard aswell?!
In the mouth it´s rich and alittle acidic. Good lenght and nice body with nutsflavours.
For a pilsener it´s actually really good!
