Et fyldig, karamellrikt øl balansert med generøse mengder amerikansk Cascade humle. Anbefalt serveringstemperatur 8 grader.

Deep amber brownish body with a light-brown head that leaves some lacing on the glass. The aroma is lightly toasted with dark caramel, mild coffee, tin can and fruits in the back. Moderate to light sweet taste with a sharp metallic moderate bitter finish with faint stale coffee and some unfitting acidic citric notes. Dry and metallic mouthfeel. Nah, not that good.
[50 cl bottle, from Meny Oslo City, Oslo]

Bottle, from Centra Majorstua. Dark brown color, medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and some fruity hops, but far from what I expect as the label proclaims "generous amonts of american cascade hops". Roasty taste with toffee, and again, not the bitterness you expect from reading the label. Still an ok beer

Pours amber colour with a white head. Aroma of hay, pine, some caramel and nuts. Medium body. A easy to drink amber ale, that is just fine for me, but the 5,5 avb version has some more depth that allows the tastes to be more present.

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours clear deep amber/brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, toffee and grassy hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long sweet caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

From bottle at Øl- og akevittmessen 2012, Stavanger. Clear, nut brown body with a dense, lightø brown film. Caramel, light sprucy nose with dark toffee. Tobacco, light sweet, light caramel flavor with a bitter finish. Light astringent. Medium body. Grows slightly in the mouth.

Bottle, 500ml, overpriced from Fenaknoken. Full score on appearance with its lasting, medium-sized, beige head covering a clear, golden-brown body. Spotty lacing to glassware. Smell of herbal hops and semi-sweet malts. Slightly roasted dark caramel malts in flavour with hints of brown sugar offset by a dry hoppy ending. Medium bodied. One of the best among Norwegian beers below 4.75% abv (hotel room, Oslo 28.02.2012).

Bottle. Pours reddish dark brown with a small light brown head. Aroma of hops, caramel and slightly roasted malt. Sweet caramel taste with a nice dry and bitter finish. Very tasty and one of the best "shop strenght" beers in Norway.
