Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Thanks to KnutAlbert. Deep chestnut with lovely colour and thin beige head. Nice malty lager aroma. It’s fine. Gets a bit thin towards the end. OK.

A Mes rate: Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest ’08 Red brown colour with a thin off white head. Lots of fruity malt, a pleasant earthiness and some candy floss sweetness. Some raisins too. A little on the thin side but coupled with the reasonably restrained abv it makes it very drinkable.

330ml bottle bought at Centra Colosseum in Oslo. Deep, mahogany coloured body. Fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing. Fragile lacing to the glassware. Dark and dry grainy malts to the nose. Dark roasted malts in flavour alongside liquorice and wet bread. Notes of bitterness to the ending. Accepted (Tromsø, 31.12.2011).

Big offwhite creamy head. Dark red translucent body. Faint, sweet caramelly aroma with faint hop background. Taste is smoky, sweetish caramel malts with some roastiness. Bitter, smoky finish with grassy hop notes. It’s a bit dry and harsh, but not bad. (0.33l bottle.)
