50 cl bottle at home. Dark brown, nice beige head. Aroma is caramel malt and hints of hops. Flavor has moderate sweetness and almost no bitterness. Drinkable and fine beer, but a bit thin.

Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. High fluffy long lasting good looking white head. Cloudy brown body. Strong sweet roasted malt straw bread aroma. Fairly hopped and bitter sweet roasted and dry malt flavor. Low carbonation. Long finish. Nice surprise.

33cl brown bottle; beige head, clear copper body, some dots inside mug. Oaky scents with prunes, butter, caramel malts, smoke in the oak. Tastes dark caramel malts, smoked prunes, maybe a nut passed by. Good taste. Alright body. Modest carbonation (less hard since 2012). Finishes with malty grains, brown bitterness, lingering a bit. Overall nice brew! B@Kjeller 5 Tromsø, better than my chicken.

0,33 liters flaske 4,7 prosent. Godt øl, dog ikke beste Brown ale jeg har prøvd. Lett i smaken og trolig en god øl å begynne med dersom en aldri har smakt Brown ale før. Verd å forsøke, samt en øl en ikke blir skuffet om en blir servert.

Berries, nuts and dark malts in the aroma. Medium brown with a red tint, white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light body with a average carbonation. Overall totally OK, but a bit watery and boring.

Flaske 0,5l. Spandert av og delt med Rune etter arbeidsøkt i WCveien 13 Mar 13. Mørk rødbrun. Lavt - litt farget skum. God malt- & karamellaroma. Smaken er karamell. Blir vel søt. En grei brownale. Ville sikker vært god til grillmat.

Bottle from local grocery store. Bottle says "Skumring - Brown Ale". Pours a dark brown brew, nice head. Smells like the jam my grandma used to make (read: various berries), but with some dark malt. Taste is also like the jam my grandma used to make from red and black currants, with additional notes of dark malts. The mouthfeel is close to water. Subdued carbonation. Some metallic notes. Sweet. Very disappointing.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2014 Dark ruby. Good beige head. Aroma of sweet toffee and dark malt. Similar taste, with hints of dark chocolate and toffee. Medium long aftertaste. Perhaps a bit thin mouthfeel. Well balanced with good drinkability.
