Attractive, slightly burned stout with a lot of malty bitterness (?) Tastes of coffee, soy, fizz and ruccola; nice sticky bittertaste in the tail. Berentsen are either very good at making complex-tasting low alcoholic beers, or they are good at lying at their labels.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Bryne) - Black with a small tan head. Coffee, roasted malt and milky chocolate in the aroma. Smooth and roasted taste with notes of coffee, liquorice and some slightly milky and buttery notes. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

Flaske 0,33l fra Kjeller 5. Kullsort. Lavt, litt farget skum som daler sakte. Tynn lacing. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken litt lær med antydning til røyk. Bra - men mangler fylde.

Bottle, kindly donated by Cunningham , many thanks my friend.Tis beer was brewed for World Championship of Sheep Shearing 2008. Very dark chestnut brown color with huge long lasting beige head. Roasted malt, coffee in aroma. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, nuts, coffee and dark fruits in taste. Good, easy drinkable stout.

Bubbly and dense 2-finger head, several curtains, dark dark brown body. Scents; fruity sweet malts, grassy hops, apples. Taste; coffee, black coffee, metallic dark malts, vanished apple. Feels half dry, soft carb., ok body. Finish; bitter chocolate malts, not lingering too long. Overall a bit too much metallic coffee to me. Sort med rødskjær klar med høyt lys brunt skum. Kaffe og mørk sjokolade, Kjenner også igjen smaken av bitter mørk sjokoladen, men også god sødme. Dette er en lett stout, savner fylde.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Decent one with rye, bit roasted malt, some slight sourness and some coffee also. Nothing special but really drinkable.

Bottle from trade with Cunningham - many thanks, Henrik! The beer pours out in a deep black colour with creamy steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and coffee. Taste of malt, torf, coffee, nuts, grains and dark berries. Earthy finish. Nice and easy to drink.
