The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts hoppy-sweet, quite mild, turns then spicy, keeps it till the end. Nice Weihnachtsbier!

Pours darkish yellow with a small head. Sweet malt and dough flavors. Mild spicy hops come in late. Not much more to this one.

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Clear, golden to deep golden coloured, small white head; sweet-grainy, slightly bisquity nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, accompanied by a little acidity; light to medium bodied; sweetish and mild finish with a bitter-hoppy touch. Decent Festbier.........

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet malty, slightly cara-malty and bready nose with a tinge of cardboard. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly chalky and bready taste with a noticeable herbal and bitter hops character; moderately dry and slightly bitter cara-malty finish. A decent Festbier (10.III.09).
