Poured a dark amber-red body with a slightly off white head. Sweet grainy dry nose. Dry grainy, slightly sweetish balanced taste. Grainy dunkel. Extremely light notes of orange. Slightly papery. Dunno, not bad, not great.

Süß-malzig riecht dieses Altstadt Dunkel aus Uslar. Geschmacklich ist es leicht säuerlich, jedoch vielmehr malzig, süß-weinig. Die Schaumkrone hielt nicht so gut. Fazit: Eher lecker als unlecker, aber dennoch für ein dunkles langweilig, da die Geschmacksinintensivität zu schwach ist. Test vom 20.12.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,8,8,8,12,8 - 8,50

Flaske 0,33l fra REWE i Göttingen. Fortært på rom 304 i Hotel Intercity, Göttingen 7 Mar 12. Mørkebrun. Lavt skum som raskt forsvinner. Litt forsiktig karamellaroma. Smaken er søt røstet malt. Syrlig bitter ettersmak.

Herber, leicht süßer Antrunk. Die zuerst verschwindend geringe Malzigkeit wird konstant stärker, erscheint in vielen Teilen aber zu süß. Dazu ist eine leichte Hopfennote vorhanden. Süßlich-süffiger Abgang – für ein Dunkles etwas zu laff. 8/8/8/8/9/8

Bottle @ home. Clear dark copper / amber color, small off-white head. Smell malts, dark fruits, almost something roasty. Thin texture. Taste malts and some bitterness. Pretty nice taste but low body, low carbo and a too thin texture in my opinion.

Red/amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, hint of metal in the nose. Moderate malty, light caramellish grainy and mild metallic with slight watery and rather sweet finish. Pretty average dunkel.

330 ml flip-top bottle in Germany at home thanks to shrubber85. Has a clear dark brown color, and a light brown head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste is kind of bland for a Dunkel but same as the Aroma. Palate is weak and a bit watery. There is too much carbonation in the beer as well. Slightly below average.

Nice coppery colour; hints of dried fruits, honey and red wine. Rather light body, average carbonation. Slight sweetness on the palate, with restrained aromas of dried dates and cocoa. Ever so slight aromas of citrus and chocolate in the finish. Pleasant Dunkel, recommended for summer, due to its fresh and unobtrusive character.

Clear dark brown color, lasting light brown head. Sweet malty scent. Sweet malty taste. Medium low mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Swing-top bottle. Sour milk and molasses malt aroma. Clear medium brown with small head. Sweet molasses malt - moderately acidic with mild bitter grass hops finish. Body is a bit light. Good standard dunkel.
