COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Discount beer brewed by the Oriental Brewery for the Japanese Daiei Supermarket chain. The Korean "Bergen bräu" is not the same as the Belgían "Bergenbräu".

Ahhh the good old Daiei 100 yen beer. Thin, ricey adjunct taste - but what do you expect for the price? Still better than happoshu. Didn’t realsie it was from Korea - and it’s probably better than hite!

Slight improvement over it’s brother Neu Welt. Flavors are slightly mellower, but still not very good. Your usual bright white watery head and slightly greenish gold color happoshu.

Can. Pale yellow colour, quite short lasting bubbly "head". Weak grainy aroma. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is weak and grainy with a light sweetness.
