Bottle. Almost black and opague. Firm head. Hints of licorice and pepper in the aroma. Thin. Malty flavor with hints of apple. Roast, licorice and just hints of pepper. The chili is very well integrated in the beer and not dominant at all. Good balance. Maybe a slight burn in the aftertaste. Good beer!

Bottle. [thanks bierkoning]
Pours deep brownish black with a firm, medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma has fine chocolate, soft metallic, peppery hot. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly full mouthfeel for the ABV. Flavour has deep dark chocolate, lightly roasted, mild herbal. The chili lingers and gets more potent later on. Light grainy bitterness. Well-balanced and very drinkable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jaghana (2821) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - MAR 17, 2012
Bottle 33cl from bierkoning thanks a lot. A dark beer with huge brownish head. Nose is on smoked and coffee notes. Aroma is mostly dry on dark caramel, bitter chocolate with roasted notes and an astringent yeast note. Finish has dark chocolate and smokes notes, chili notes are low only perceptible in the peppery aftertaste. Not bad, for a low alcohol.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martinus (1777) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2012
Black colour, tan head. Loads of chocolate in the nose, roasted malts and caramel. Light bitter flavour, light sweet, roasted malts, only light green bell pepper. Quite light body, but still creamy. Finish chocolate and cacao.
Nice, but why is it called chiliporter?
(From 33cL bottle @ home. From trade with bierkoning. Thanks!)
