Bottle. Pale amber color. Peppery citric hops and tangerine in the aroma. Hint of nutmeg. Firm earthy citric hopbitter flavor with nutmeg and tangerine. Slightly herbal aftertaste. Well made and fairly well balanced ale.

Pours clear coppery golden with a big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is fairly sweet, some oranges, biscuity malts, light apple, softly vinious, grapes. High carbonation, fine light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light, still some biscuity notes amongst the doughy ones, light apple, soft pepper. Kinda nice dryish hoppy finish. Average.

Bottle from Bierkoning. Golden body with big head. Nose of citrus and malts. Taste is citrus, quite sharp with some spicy notes in the middle. Refreshing towards the end. Kind of funky.

Flavorful beer, little too much carbonation. Gives some good burps. Grass, slightly sour, white head stays a while. Berghoeve makes good beers so far. Bottle from De Bierkoning in Amsterdam.

Hefiger, dunkel herber Beginn, starke Karbonisierung. Kräuterartige Würznoten, gering süß, stärker herb werdend. Dann stärker malzig, vollmundig, seicht bitterer Ausklang. Etwas dünner Hintergrund. Nettes hopfenintensives Bier. 8/8/8/9/7/9

Bottle. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is hop, yeast, malt, caramel. flavour is hop, yeast, malt, caramel, fruit, alcohol. Ordinary beer.

Bottle thanks to Edo... dark honey gold, a nice tope head, wonderful mountain top cream head... very sweet nose, honey, a touch of yeast, sugar cookie maltiness, a bit simple but ok... the taste starts off sweet at first but there is a bitter unpleasant finish... so so

Bottle thanks to bierkoning. Hazy orange golden color with huge white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of orange, red fruit, Taste, lemon, lime, some orange, toffee with nice bitter finish. Good.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 Bottle I bought at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow orange color. Smell is nice for a blond beer, made me anxious to taste. Taste malts, little creamy, hops, light bitterness and soft sweetness. Medium carbonation, medium body.

Bottle.Pours cloudy golden with a big fast dissipating white head.Aroma of orange, fruitiness and yeast.Flavor bis sweet and fruity with some yeast and fruitiness.Medium body, average carbonation.Easy drinkable and fruity beer.

Bottle. A slow gusher, with no problems avoiding spill. Slightly unclear, golden in color and with a coarse off-white head. The aroma is filled with bakers yeast, putting fruits and piney hops in the background. Nice bitterness in the flavor, rather fruity, orange mostly, and with very evident yeast. Way to yeasty to become a favorite of mine, but at least it drinks easily. 110612
