Bottle, trade with Bierkoning, huge thanx! Barva: tmavě černohnědá. Pěna přiměřená. Vůně: svěží sladově kávová. Chuť: fantasticky hořký stout, plné, hutné sladové tělo s kávovou stopou a pořádný chmelový říz s dlouhým hořkým dozvukem. Pivo jako křen.

33cl bottle from De Bierkoning in Amsterdam. Pours a black colored body with an inch thick, fizzy and foamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is fairly malty sweet with some caramels, toffees, and a light chocolate. Some licorice spice, roasts, and dark fruits as well. Flavor is similar. Malty sweet with some caramels, toffee bread, nuts, and a light chocolate. A bit of a licorice note throughout with a light roast and some dark fruits before this finishes sweet, but dry and roasty. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a fizzy, higher carbonation. Overall, a decent stout. On the sweeter side, but balanced enough to keep it enjoyable. Not bad.
