Strikingly bitter beer in a lovely way, restrained, classy. Pours a little cloudy, dark gold. Some flowers and herbs in the aroma. Superb effervescence and conditioning. Baked bread and slight sweetness creeps in as it warms, along with the herbal bitterness (pepper, sharp spicy vegetable matter, fermenting fruit). A very good beer, and a great ABV level! I think this is quite underrated.Thanks to bierkoning!

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, flower, yeast. Flavour is fruit, hop, berries, malt, flower, yeast. OK beer.

Bottle thanks to bierkoning. Poured a clear gold with a violent erupting white head. I poured it in a new Belgium globe glass and the etching made this crazy. It settled down when I transferred to different glass. Aroma was citrus, slight pine, spice, and some brett. Flavor was pretty much on par with the nose. Body was was light with fizzy carbonation.

Bottle, thx to Papsoe. It forms a big, off-white head when poured, but it settles into finger-thick height quite soon. Some lacings. Almost clear, golden body. The aroma has some milky sourness, but mostly fruity. Some grainy notes. The flavor is a bit sourish, with a fine bitterness and hoppy flavor. Grainy touch. Medium body, too fizzy. Drinkable indeed, but it presents itself slightly unclean. Nice to taste, don’t feel like drinking a lot of it. 110219

Thanks for bierkoning, Edo! Hazy orange color, steady white head. Strong orange jam aroma.. Active carbonation. Orange, wood, yeast in the flavor. Finish has some woody bitterness. Quite bland, I can’t recognize it to De Molen beer.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some yeast, mild spices, and some sweet malts. Flavour is wood, some mild herbal notes, toffee and some slight spices as well. Quite richly carbonation.

[ Trade by bierkoning ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted, tart - fruity, moderate hoppy, grass, herbs - fresh wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity tart, grass, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101119]

Bottle @ Friday Night Ulfborg Thing. Thanks to J&C. Pours cloudy golden with a small lasting egg white head. Nose is yeast and hops. Dry and fruity tart notes. Lively/sparkling carbonation. Very dry, fruity, grassy and yeasty flavor.
