Bottle.[thanks bierkoning]
Clear amber golden with a small, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is pleasant exotic fruit with peach and pine dominating. Some citric and orange notes as well. Fairly crisp maltiness. Medium carbonation, fine light and slightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly hoppy, apricot, peach, oranges and citrus. Lingering, mildly dry bitter finish. Elegant IPA, almost like a magnificent Golden Ale, really.

Bottle from Bierkoning, thank you! Hazy orange with a medium head. Aroma is full of American aroma hops - lychee, mango, pineapple and pine, citrus, peach and also some yeast. Smells almost like a tropical fruit cocktail, somewhat sweet. The taste, however, is devoid of sweetness, very hoppy in flavour, with a moderately strong bitterness. For an IPA the bitterness seems to be a bit on the lower end of the spectrum but this is just perfect, as the beer doesn’t have any sweet counterpart that would be right in place to balance a stronger bitterness. Fantastic!

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2012 Bottle, 4.5%. Mild caramelly and citrusy, slightly piney aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Very big and stable white head, but not overcarbonated. The flavour is clean and hoppy. Has a citrusy and piney hoppiness and a faint sweet note. Good and clean.

PotjeBier (523) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 2, 2012
33cl bottle from the brewery. Pours a nice amber color with a huge (almost) white head, long lasting, good lace. Nice aroma’s of fresh hops, grassy, citrussy, some acidity retronasal. Flavor is medium bitter, grassy. Body is thin, could have used a bit more. Nice bitter finish. Very nice thirst quencher, would be a perfect summer beer.

Aroma: Delicious! Fruity bit yeasty, smells good! Aappearance: Beautiful, reddish colour, head was nothing special though. Taste: First sip is sweet but then ZANG bitter, very mouth full bitterness the after aftertaste is another hit of bitter. I dig this! Palate: Could have been better in many ways the body could have been slightly fuller, the carbonation could have been a bit more, the finish is long and bitter which is a good thing! Overall: Definetly a very good beer! I didn’t expect this one to be so good to be honest, I really like the combination of fruits yeast and hops awesome :)

Bottle@Home. Very fruity, yeasty aroma. Yellow, huge white head, good lace. Pretty dry, fruity, lots of hops. Medium body, actually quite a good body for just 4.5%. Flavourful, very refreshing, easy going.

Thanks Edo!
Lots of foam coming out of bottle. Slightly hazy orange color, big cloudy white head. Hayish, yeasty aroma - similar to some De Molen IPAs. Light body. Nice hayish-fruity hoppyness but slightly weak malt profile. Some grapefruit. Lingering fruityness in the aftertaste. Summer drink with the obvious De Molen fingerprints. Not much wrong with the taste of this beer, but too much carbonation and weakish palate.

Leighton (4091) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2011
Bottle at home in London, thanks to Benzai. Pours cloudy, light brown-gold with an absolutely huge, staying creamy white head. Aroma holds quite a bit of floral, lightly grassy and lightly citrusy hops. Flavor has just a light sweetness to it, some woody and grassy bitterness, certain citrus pith, faint mandarin orange. Quite delicate. Light bodied with extremely fine, highly effervescent carbonation. Massages like crazy. Faintly dry finish, more citrus pith, some light bread, florals and grass. Very delicate overall but quite nice.

Koelschtrinker (7038) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - OCT 12, 2011
Grob karbonisierter Antrunk, der den Hopfen beeinträchtigt. Frisch, passender Herbe. Zitrusnoten, die nach und nach in eine deutliche Bitterkeit übergeht. Wenig blumiger Hopfen, zum Ende etwas trocken, stark bitter. Gelungen. 6/10/11/10/8/10
