COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Specially brewed for the Ratebeer European Summer Gathering 2013 in The Netherlands. Organisation by Joes, Benzai, Martinus and Dutchdrebus. IPA / Orange Pale Ale brewed with El Dorado and Cascade.

33 cl bottle @ wPBF14.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of hops, citric fruits, some resin and hay. Flavor of grass, sweet caramel malts, mild resinous hops. hay and goose berries. Quite aggressive tangy bitterness kicks at the end but the sweetness ruins it a bit for me. Decent, not very balanced though.

Gusher. Aroma is rather fruity with apricot, hay and some orange. Flavour is a bit messy with woody notes, stinging hops, some fruity tones and grapefruit. Foamy palate is too high on CO2. Too dry and woody but not bad anyway. Tried to pour more into my glass but got only foam.

Murky-hazy amber color, good beige head, lace. Tropical fruity flavor and "dry yeasty" notes. Medium-bodied. Caramel, tropical fruity hops and resin, some alcohol. There is some notes which are perhaps from yeast. Fruity IPA/DIPA.

Bottled (thanks fonefan). Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild toffeeish and wooden notes. Flavour is sweet fruits, ripe notes as well as some sweet malts, liquorice and a bit spicy notes. Balanced and quite pleasant.

Bottle. thnx to Secret Sinterklaas and Secret EuroSanta... thnx bearded men!! Pours a darker golden beer than Id expected with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma is kinda vague and a bit old, but it still has hop presences. Some slight citric and earthy touches come trough. Flavor gave me a huge kick . Very bitter, upfront hoppyness going on and I really did not expect that much hops going on, after the age. Very hop forward, dry grapefruity overall taste, combined with a slight touch of malts. Long, lingering bitter finish.. Wow, can t believe how this shouldve been when fresh.

I really hope this beer will stay as a standard Berghoeve beer. When the huge foam head is gone great flavor with bitterness and spices remains. Longlasting aftertaste. Great beer. Bottle from Burg Bieren.
