COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Specially brewed for the Ratebeer European Summer Gathering 2013 in The Netherlands. Organisation by Joes, Benzai, Martinus and Dutchdrebus. IPA / Orange Pale Ale brewed with El Dorado and Cascade.

Murky amber with persistent thin head. Little lacing. Pine, grapefruit, slightly cheesy aroma (but in a nice way). Thickish palate. Tongue shrinking bitterness (but we like that don’t we) with the pine and citrus coming through strongly. Not bad but not the most complex ipa.

Bottle thanks to @Bierkoning, bedankt Edo !
Aroma is gewoonweg lekker; zoet, citrus, grapefruit.

Very bitter, delicious. Warming alcohol end, sharp hops, very nice. Rich palate, lasting ending. Not refined. Modern hops, citrus, pale but abundant malts. Looks great, smells great, tastes amazing. Impressive brew! (33cl from trade with Edo, thanks!)

Backlog rating. 33cl bottle at Caspar tasting at Chriso’s, London. Decent DIPA with mild orange note, some fruity esters and a big intense sweetness. Sub-par as comes off boozy and too sweet for my likes

Bottle. Lively one, beer came pouring out. Golden color, big white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Taste is quite bitter and dry. Body is thin. Lacks some hop character.

Bottle, thank you Benzai! Pours in clear bronze body with medium white head. Aroma has a nice tropical character, mango, pineapple, a loaded fruit basket :) peach too. Taste has high earthy bitterness with nice light citrusy sweetness. Body full, high carbonation, high drinkability too.

Aroma: average flowers, citrus/oranges. Appearance: cloudy, dark orange, spare frothy off-white head. Taste: moderate sweet. Palate: sweets intensify, getting slightly bitter, full bodied, oily texture, average-long bitter finish. Overall: nice IPA, quite decent palate. Pint at the GBBF 2014, Kensington.

Bottle, traded with Bierkoning. Very citrusy aroma, oranges all the way but also herbal and malty with some shy hints of toffee and anise. Promising, although the taste disappoints. The malty fullness disappears in the middle and a bone dry astringency follows. Very lingering bitterness, unbalanced.

Bottle shared at chriso’s. Pours unclear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has aome leafy hops, rindy orange. Light to medium sweet avor with grainy pale bread, marmalade, cereal, honey, toasted caramel. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet finish with more rindy bitterness, caramel, honey, bread. So so.
