A light hazy orange/light brown colored beer, with a thick light beige head. The aroma of malts with some hops and syrupy. The taste is sweet of malts and fruits with a little bitter, The aftertaste is bittersweet.

750ml bottle from Secret Santa, 2010. Hazy dark amber with a light bubbly biege head. Light hops, grass, some alcohol, fruity marmalade, some yeast, orange. Moderate carbonation and body, slightly sweet, bit of alcohol, interesting combination of some sticky sweetness yet you get a bitter and dry taste on the palate.

PotjeBier (523) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 5, 2012
33 cl bottle bought at the brewery. About 1 year old (bbe Jan. 2016). Clear amber color, huge off white head (keeps growing), good lace. Aroma’s are fruit, grass, fresh hops, malty sweet, acidic, herbal. Flavor is medium bitter with a hint of malty sweetness. Medium bodied, alcohol is warming a bit. Mild bitter finish. Pretty nice.

Aroma: Sweet, very fruity herbs and very spicy! Sweet, typical coriander taste/smell. Cool. Amber color, nearly orange. liquid is lightly sparkling, the head was firm but frothy. Head is whitish brown. Taste: Too sweet for my taste. The hop tastes nice but is not very bitter. Balance seems off. Shame. medium body, the texture is slightly oily, less thin then I expected I like that. fizzy, lively, carbonation. Finish is serious and bitter, I love it. Overall: This is a hard one, I appreciate the spices very much and think it leaves a wonderful taste. But it seems horribly inbalanced with the heavy sweet tones. Inbalanced :/

(33cl bottle thanks to ericandersnavy) cloudy medium orange pour with no head. Nose of toasted grain, smells a bit old, paper, raisin, and muted in general. Taste of toasty grain, mild alcoholic kick but fairly well hidden given the ABV, grain mash, and almost uncarbonated. Delicious linger is the best thing about this.

Bottle looks very simple, beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts strong and dry, more and more spicy-sourish, bitter background. Finish a bit moldy-malty. Not my favourite.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2011 bottle from ericandersnavy... thanks man! he told me this bottle would explode, and has possible brett in it, but I forgot. My floor thanks me. I have had exploding beers before, but this was THE fastest... period. open, bam, head on the floor. damn. that being said, it pours a diarrhea looking everything in my glass... color and a TON of sediment, obviously with a shit ton of head. nose is very earthy, but really not much on it. There is a European hop presence, with an odd bit of ham which leads me to smoked malt. but the most amazing thing is the absence of a nose... taste is dirty socks. Yet it has a striking quality of dryness to it... which is completely unexpected. I want some water after each sip. Brett is very apparent. Very earthy mustiness to it that is unmistakenly brett. Seems way more farmhouse than a belgian strong. Dont know if this is infected or what, but it is not bad... It is decent, and different. The earthy horse blanket taste is very prominent. The alcohol is completely invisible...
