Courtesy of Bierkoning, huge thanx!!! Barva: hnědá kalná. Pěna: středně hustá, opadávající. Vůně: po kandovaném ovoci. Chuť: plné pivo s ostřejším nástupem, lehce patrným alkoholem, sladovým tělem a jen středním chmelovým dozvukem. Velice silné pivo. Po napití zůstává dlouhá tupá ořechově fernetová chuť.

Bottle. Pours a hazy brown amber beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma of dark fruits, big sweet malts, dirt tones and some dark fruits and spices. Flavor is quite sweet, very malty, loads of dark fruits and sugars in there. Typical, thin bock mouthfeel, low carbonation but long, sweet finish. Nice bock to to start the season!

Bottle, pours amber brown with a dense off white head. Aroma: raisins, nuts, spices. Taste: Berries, plums, spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, cumin), dried leaves, caramel, nuts. Medium sweet, light bitterness, light-medium body, average to lively carbonation, fairly dry finish. I’m not a big fan of bock beers, but Windbuul is very well balanced and surprisingly enjoyable.

(Berghoeve Windbuul) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a snifter. ABV 7% Pours a red brown beer, with clear transparent body, light beige head on top. Good retention. Aroma is mostly of nuts, light caramel, some grass. Taste is better, still some nuts but not as much as on the aroma, caramel, a bit herbal too, with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Overall okay.

33cl Bottle from Speciaalbierwinkel Bodegraven. ABV is 6%. Reddish brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma is sweet, Roosvicee, red fruits, raisins, syrup, light spicy, burnt sugar. Flavour is sweet, light malty, dark fruits, sweet plums, Roosvicee, burnt sugar, hint of roasted malts, mostly sweet finish. Light to medium-bodied. Too sweet, and not very bock-like.

Brown with a rather small head. Aroma is filled with lots of caramel and dark fruit like raisins, figs, some blackcurrant. It is also lightly spicy. Soft, sweet taste with a sweet-bitter finish. Dried fruit, caramel and some toffee in the flavour. Uncomplicated but tasty, with well hidden alcohol.

Enjoying this one a lot, like so many of the Berghoeve beers. This one is a bock with autumn flavors, peach, pumpkin etc. Doesnt smell too great and the brown/orange color isn’t too pretty, but it’s a very nice beer. Bottle from De Schans,

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts strong-spicy, modest sourish, fruity hints of raisins. Some earthy notes. Finish still spicy-strong. Warming-malty finish. Nice!

0,33 l bottle bought directly at the brewery. Dark brown and unclear in the glass. Light tanned head. Plum and malt on the nose. Starts hopy fresh with plums, dark berriefruits, light coffie and malt. Mid sweetness, medium body, light alcoholic. To the end a little bit sticky. Good one!
