16oz can from Armanetti’s. Pours a cloudy, orange-yellow colored body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is sweet pale malts, grain, and a touch of caramel with a very light floral and grass. Flavor is similar. Sweet pale malts up front with some grainy bread and a light caramel. A light grass and some floral fruits before this finishes a bit cloyingly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Short aftertaste following a light body and a medium-light, bubbly carbonation. Overall, a pretty weak APA. Not out of balance, but a bit cloying in the finish with barely enough of a hopping. Eh...

16oz can 11/10/11 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-46° in Lager Glass-Pours a slightly hazy orangish golden with a two finger white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of hops, malt, citus, grass, and grains. This medium bodied brew is not bad. I was expecting worse but a rather hot summer kinda day brew.

Can. Pours an ever so slightly hazed golden color with a white head that quickly settles. Bubblegum and banana in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet start with notes of a slight fruitiness. Really no hop presence to speak of. More sweet than anything. Not that good.

16 oz. can. Color is a hazy yellow amber with a thin foamy white head. Sweet malt and grain aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Taste is slightly sweet malt with a bit of citrus and grassy hops. Light carbonation and light to medium bodied. Won’t win many awards but not a bad beer really.

16oz tallboy can poured into a pint glass. Pours hazy/murky yellow. Smells more malty than hoppy even though hops are plastered on the can’s graphics. Tasted slightly metallic and oddly carbonated. This one wasn’t good at all..

Pours an extremely cloudy yellow. Aroma is of light citrus and grass. Slight hops and malt on the palate. This hides the increased alcohol content well. Very smooth going down, and very refreshing. This was made to be a "lawn mowing beer" and it does not disappoint. HOWEVER, this is grossly overpriced. I paid $5.99 for a 4 pack of pints. Indefensible!

From notes. 16oz can from Old Chicago poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy pale yellow. Not much head to speak of but what little is there is bright white. Smells very malty. Slight scent of yellow citrus fruits and lemonade. Taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Like a slightly bitter lemonade. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Very soft carbonation. This was an ok beer. Nothing I would need to buy again or drink more than 1 of, but overall it’s not really that bad.

16 oz can thanks to 17thfloor for sharing!? Pours a light orange color with a small white head. Aroma is very stange, old candy caramel notes, medicine, odd hops, a bit grassy. Flavor has a weird soapy metallic character that really is pretty nasty. Compound that with the sweet cloying candy notes and slightly bitter hops. Light to medium body and a sharp carbonation. Not sure if its just a bad beer or a bad batch or what, but this is something awful.

16 oz. can poured to a sampler glass at a local tasting benefit at 20West Liquors in Lombard, IL. Showed an orange/amber color, with plenty of off white, creamy foam, and waves of lacing. Medium bodied, and moderately bitter, but the nose lost my interest from the start with too much dank, mealy grain, and some stale, yeasty notes. A subtle sweetness only slightly softened my attitude.

Smells a bit vegetal, strange...can’t quite place it. Pours yellow, hazy. Is this a wheat ale? Crisp malt and wheat, but that vegetal bit in the aroma surfaces on the palate...hmmm. If I can get past it sitting it here at my desk, I certainly could at a picnic, but the flavor it kind of weird. Not horrible, just weird and something I can’t quite place. Otherwise, the body is okay, the mouthfeel is good. The bitterness is moderate. Certainly the strangest pale ale I’ve had, drinks more like a bad Wit.
