COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introduced in October of 1989, the bock style far exceeded original expectations. This micro-styled bock beer has a rich and full-bodied flavor while being creamy on the palate. The nose yields a fresh, malty aroma with a hint of caramel sweetness. Hop bitterness and aftertaste balance the sweetness and maltiness. Berghoff Bock is made with Brewer's Two-Row Malt, Carapils Malt, Caramel Malt, Black Malt and domestic hops.

Really thin stuff. It has a nice flavor, a light chocolate taste with a hint of butter, but the flavor isn’t robust at all. After a couple, I started noticing a kind of bitter buildup on my palate. But at the price, I really don’t want to knock this beer too hard: you can’t get much that’s this good in its price range.

Thin and very bland. Some mild maltiness tickles but never asserts itself. In the range of Shiner Bock. Not much hoppiness at all. Just plain and very run of the mill.

For $5.00 a sixer and the quality of the product, it is a definite casual-drinking brew worthy of any beer-drinking situation

This is an okay beer. I wouldn’t drink too much of this
