Another great brew from the joseph huber brewing company. A solid ale with a distinct and good taste.

Does not have the horrid aftertaste of most pale ales. It tastes a lot more like an Irish Red beer, Killians etc. Nice flavor, but overall not outstanding. Berghoff is a good brand overall.

Nice golden reddish brown color without any cloudiness.Light tan thick, foamy head. Plenty of alcohol in flavor. Slightly bitter, creamy, sweet, malty, woody, fruity taste. Thick, smooth mouthfeel.Lace all the way to the bottom.Great small bubble carbonation. Tart and semi dry. This must not be the same beer that I've read the reviews on even though it has the same name or I finally got a fresher bottle than anybody else.

Great amber ale. the color is a dark brown goodness. the best amber ale i’ve had in a while. Very drinkable, and highly recommend for all amber ale fans.

This smells and looks nice. It has a nice crisp hoppiness, which begins quite pleasantly. The finsih, however, is too thin and metallic, but not so much that this isn’t a drinkable beer.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2004 Copper color, not much head with caramel aroma. Medium bodied, sweet and well balanced with some strawberry/cherry flavors and some toasty malt and hop bitterness. Dryish finish. The brewer describes this as an APA but it reminds me more of the English style pale, or even a bitter. Good though.
